Some people never stop creating, evolving, expanding and the team behind the ‘nice n easy’ restaurants in Athens and Mykonos is exactly that. For the year to come, Christos Athanasiadis and Dimitris Christoforidis, the businessmen behind the first organic bistro in Greece, join forces for one more time and are introducing us to “Exquisite Catering”, aiming to offer the most extraordinary catering services in Mykonos.
A citizen of the world, but with an American business mind, Dimitris Christoforidis arrived in Los Angeles at his early 20s and it did not take him long before starting his very own club restaurants. His vibrant personality along with his strong managerial and hospitality skills did not leave the local crowd unimpressed and very soon Hollywood’s avant-garde became his restaurants’ most loyal fans. Eventually his love for his home country brought him back to Greece only to join forces with the award-winning chef Christos Athanasiadis and open the first ‘nice n easy’ restaurant in Athens. Together, they expanded the concept with two more all day restaurants, as well as a gourmet restaurant, while for their latest project they decided to take a step further and introduce us to their Exquisite catering services. As a true supporter of healthy dietary, Dimitris is also the proud owner of a water buffalo farm in northern Greece, providing diary for his restaurants and is always happy to educate his team and clients on his greatest passions; buying local, the importance of superfoods and organic farming.
With his recipes featured in many gastronomy and television shows not only in Greece but worldwide, Christos Athanasiadis is definitely a man of many talents. His natural curiosity, charming personality and passion for the finest cuisine led him to explore the local culture whereas his intense travel spirit allowed him to expand his gourmet horizons on an International level. In 2009, along with his business partner Dimitris Christoforidis, decided it was time to introduce the concept of organic cuisine to Greece, and together they created the first ‘nice n easy’ restaurant in Kolonaki, followed by two more, in Mykonos and in Kifisia. As restless businessmen and non- stop creators, they continued into bringing to life one more concept; ‘Nesaea’ restaurant in Mykonos, destined to serve top level farm to table greek island cuisine. For this year, they are introducing us to “Exquisite Catering”, aiming to offer the most extraordinary catering services in Mykonos. Always targeting for perfection and with a mind set to create to ideas and trends, Christos is a person that never seizes to surprise his colleagues and friends and a name that we expect to hear a lot in the future.
